Weekend Happenings in Holualoa & Kona!

Saturdays bring farmers to Holualoa Village to share their naturally grown products with Island residents and vistitors. A short stroll from Holualoa Inn, the weekly Farmers Market is hosted at Holuakoa Cafe & Gardens from 8 a.m. til about noon. Mostly organic farm fresh produce, tropical fruits, Kona coffee, honey, preserves and just laid eggs are among the goodies. It's a short drive to Kailua-Kona from Holualoa Inn, and Sunday the Kailua bay side town hosts its Kailua Village Stroll along the charming Alii Drive which is shut down to traffic, becoming a delightful pedestrian boulevard! Local musicians perform; artists and craftspeople share their work and, of course, there's plenty of food and beverage to be enjoyed! Life is good on Hawaii Island...hope to see you here soon!
