Hawaii Island Mother's Day Celebrations!

Numerous Big Island restaurants are offering fabulous options for brunch, lunch and dinner to celebrate all the Moms in your life. One that really caught our eye is the day-long "Mother's Day Prix Fixe Menu" offered by Mi's Italian Bistro in South Kona. Stellar Big Island Chef Morgan Star has created a three-course menu that has our mouth's watering -- your choice of homemade soup or salad, a tempting selection of 4 special entrees to choose from (including Parmesan Encrusted Ono with Meyer Lemon Beurre Blanc and a dish that has us curious: Italian Style Shepherd's Pie with Big Island grass fed beef and creamy mashed potatoes), and dessert. All at a price that cannot be beat for Chef Morgan's "everything house made, everything made with the finest, seasonal organic or sustainably grown ingredients" cooking. Highly recommended. Offered from 11:30 am to 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Mi's Italian Bistro is a pleasant and scenic 30-40 minute drive from Holualoa Inn.
